From the moment a customer encounters your business, hold off on sales and instead focus on building a relationship. Think in terms of how you can help the customer. Make it easy on yourself and use an accounting software program such as QuickBooks. While you can't completely automate your financial operations, automating what you can is a huge help. It makes managing your finances that much faster and easier.

43 – Forecast Major Expenses

Make a list of all of your business's major expenses such as computer upgrades or subscription services. Put these on your yearly calendar far in advance so that you have time to plan how you'll pay for them. This way, you won't have to take money that's needed elsewhere when it comes time to make your payment.
