I've asked influencers who I've followed for years, or taken part in their courses and shared their content & they've all said yes, so far.

I agree that offline is important, and building local relationships for local influencers. I've started using linkedin local groups to start seeing who's doing what & who people are talking about.

The other place is awards - who's winning, who's been nominated, who are the judges. They're all likely to be great guests, or add something to your interview schedule.

I agree Alice. You need to start building a relationship before asking them to be interviewed. They need to understand you're serious about what you're doing, and why they can add something to that conversation.

Hi Kevin, thanks for the reassurance that it's not so difficult to find suitable influencers to interview, as long as you're willing to put the effort it. However, this would certainly benefit from doing a bit of interaction first, commenting on their blog posts and conversing on social media, to get them to a) notice you, b) realise you're not a stalker and c) understand your motives better. This will make the process of approaching them that much easier, for all concerned.
